FAQ

1.  How do I decide which Family Tree to Pick?

  • First decide who the tree will be for (for example - your Parents, Newlyweds, Grandparents, New Parents, Yourself)
  • Second, decide if you want a descendent, ancestry or combo family Tree (a combo tree is one that has both descendants and ancestors on the same tree).
  • Next, select the design that you like (or what the recipient will like)
2.  How do I submit my family names to have my family tree made?
  • Once you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email to collect your family names (i.e. descendent or ancestor) based on which tree option you selected.  

3.  How long does it take to make my customized Family Botanic Tree?

  • We currently offer 5 business days turn around for an initial proof.  The proof will be based on the family names you provide.
  • After you review and approve the proof, we will print, frame and ship within business 5 days.

4.  Will my Family Botanic already be framed and ready to hang?

  • Yes! We will ship your Family Botanic already framed in the frame of your choice (you get to choose the size and frame style/colour when you place your order

  • Your Family Botanic will be elegantly wrapped (suitable for gift giving) and carefully packed in a sturdy corrugate box so it will arrive safely to it’s destination
  • We would be happy to include a personal note if the package is going directly gift recipient.  Just let us know.

5.  What about shipping?

  • Shipping is not included in the prices listed. Shipping will be added at check-out when you add your address.  Shipping is free for orders over $200.00.
  • We currently only ship within Canada and the U.S. We carefully wrap and ship your family tree in a sturdy box.
    6.  What if I need to change something on my order. How can I do that?
    • If you need to change your order, please contact us immediately at margot@familybotanic.com. However, please note, once we have printed your order, we will be unable to make any changes

    8.  Are my payments and information secure?

    • Our online store is powered by Shopify so you can be confident that your information and payment information is kept private and secure
    9.  What is the return/exchange policy?
    • We gladly accept cancellations within 24 hours of purchase.  Please email us at margot@familybotanic.com and we will provide a refund to your original payment method.
    • Due to the customized nature of this product, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. However, please contact us at margot@familybotanic.com if you have any problems with your order.

    10.  What do I do if I never received my order?

    • At the time of shipping, we will send you a tracking number for your package. Please email us at margot@familybotanic.com if your package does not arrive and we will track it down.
    11.  Where is Family Botanic located?
    • We are located in Toronto, Canada
